Marco Conti
Senior Counsel — Holding structures
Marco runs the holding-company practice. He works mostly on the classic problem: a founder-owned group that started as one operating company in one country, became three operating companies in five countries, and now needs a holding layer that survives both a sale and a passing of the business to the next generation.
Marco qualified in Italy in 2008 and in Switzerland in 2014 (Zurich bar). Before PI26 he spent ten years at a Swiss boutique advising family-owned industrial groups across Italy, Germany and the Benelux. He has published on Article 4 OECD MTC residency tie-breakers and on the practical application of the EU Anti-Tax-Avoidance Directive III controlled foreign company rules.
Marco works in Italian, German and English.
