Alistair Thorpe

Alistair leads the firm and heads the international tax practice. His client work focuses on holding-company structuring for mid-cap groups operating across the EU, the UK and the Gulf, with a steady stream of post-acquisition reorganisations and tax-driven restructurings.

Before founding PI26 Advisory he spent twelve years in the international tax group of a Magic Circle firm in London, leading the team on a sequence of cross-border carve-outs in the industrial and consumer sectors. He sits on a working group at the Chartered Institute of Taxation that comments on the UK implementation of Pillar Two.

Alistair qualified in England & Wales in 2011 and holds the ADIT (Advanced Diploma in International Taxation) from CIOT. He works in English and reads French and German.
